Itaewon Class Season 2 Plot
Itaewon Class Season 2 Plot is kept under wraps due to lack of information on the renewal status. This webtoon draws inspiration from the life of Park Sae-Ro (portrayed by Park Seo-Joon). Sae-Ro’s father met a tragic end at the hands of Jang Geun-won, the son of Jangga Group’s founder, Jang Dae-hee. However, due to their affluent and powerful background, they managed to escape the consequences of their actions. Driven by his anger, Sae-Ro-Yi confronts and physically assaults Jang Geun-won, which lands him in prison.
The central plot unfolds as he is eventually released from incarceration. Determined to honor his father’s memory and take on the mighty Jangga Group, he sets out to establish a bar. Complicating matters, his beloved and closest friend chooses to work for his adversaries at Jangga Group after securing a scholarship there. She assumes responsibility for the company’s long-term strategy. Amidst these dynamics, a budding romantic connection blossoms between Sae-Ro and Jo Yi-Seo, who handles the company’s financial matters.
In ‘Itaewon Class,’ Park Sae-Ro-Yi’s life takes a drastic downturn when he loses his scholarship after standing up to a bully and subsequently loses his father in an accident caused by Geun-won. Fueled by grief and anger, Sae-Ro-Yi’s emotional response leads him to physically confront Geun-won, resulting in a three-year prison sentence. Following his release, Sae-Ro-Yi’s sole purpose is to establish a pub franchise named DanBam in Itaewon and transform it into a major food enterprise within Korea. This ambition is driven by his desire for revenge against his adversaries.
If the speculations regarding a potential second season of ‘Itaewon Class’ centering around the relationship between Oh Soo-Ah and Park Bo-Gum’s characters are accurate, it could potentially serve as a significant focus for the show’s second season.
