Educational Qualification
Candidates must have successfully completed the 10+2 Examination, or its equivalent, from recognised educational boards, with a minimum cumulative score in PCM of 60%. The applicant must have taken the JEE (Mains) 2023.
Nationality
The candidate must be a male who is not married and has Indian citizenship. In addition, he ought to possess the necessary records to support this claim. The candidates are requested to postpone getting married until after their training is complete; if this request is not complied with, the candidate will be eliminated from consideration.
Maximum Age
The age of the candidate should fall between 16 and 19 and a half years.
The Indian Army will accept the candidate’s age as stated on the matriculation certificate. Born before 2 July 2004 and after 1 July 2007 are not eligible for application.
Physical Requirement
Height: The candidate’s height should not be less than 140 cm at the least.
Weight: Candidates of all ages must weigh at least 35.3 kgs. In addition, candidates must take into account their weight in relation to their height according to the Army’s published physical standard.
The recommended BMI is less than 25. For boys and females, the ideal waist to hip ratios are 0.9 and 0.8, respectively. For men, the ideal waist size is 90 cm, and for women, 80 cm.
